President
Wade is the President of Choate Company, Inc., located in Midland, Texas, and is a Certified Professional Landman. Wade Graduated from Howard College and attended Southern Methodist University.
Wade's work experience includes:
-District Clerk & County Auditor of Howard County, Texas for 8
years.
-President of Citizens Federal Credit Union for 16 years.
-City Councilman & Mayor of Big Spring, Texas for 10 years.
-Managing partner of Turner Petroleum Company for 2 years.
-Independent Landman for 34 years.
Chris Ragan, CPL
Vice President / Senior Landman
Chris attended Oklahoma State University, Northeastern Oklahoma
State University, and graduated from Parker College in Dallas, Texas
with a Doctorate Degree.
Chris has over 10 years of experience in the land business and works with wind turbine power projects, oil & gas research, and leasing. Chris also supervises our field landmen.
Chris is a member of the AAPL and PBLA
Kyle Choate
Vice President/ Accountant
Kyle has been an officer of Choate Company since 1980. He has a wide range of corporate accounting experience acquired over the past 26 years. He has been active in the Oil & Gas Business since 1999.
Kyle is a member of the AAPL.
